Lower School Supply Lists ’09 - ’10
All Lower School students need a backpack appropriate for their size and suitable for their needs.
The Parents' Association holds a Used Sports Equipment Sale in September. If your child is in First Grade or above, most of your Phys. Ed. equipment can be purchased at the sale for a very reasonable price. Also, both Lacrosse International in Downingtown and Kelly's Sports in West Chester offer a 10% discount to Upland families.
Pre-K
- Change of clothes stored in a shoebox with your child's name on it
- Sneakers for Phys. Ed. days, snug fitting and preferably with laces, but Velcro is also acceptable
Kindergarten
- Change of clothes stored in a shoebox with your child's name on it
- An adult sized, old button down shirt to be used as an art smock
- Sneakers for Phys. Ed. days, snug fitting and preferably with laces, but Velcro is also acceptable
First Grade
- Pencil box
- Box of 24 crayons
Spanish:
- Box of 10 Crayola markers (thin, classic colors)
Phys. Ed.:
- Sneakers for Phys. Ed. days in fall and spring, snug fitting and preferably with laces, but Velcro is also acceptable
- For winter Phys. Ed., either hockey or figure skates plus an ice skating helmet (Ski and riding helmets are okay; No bike helmets)
Second Grade
- Zippered pencil pouch
- Box of 24 Crayola crayons
- Box of 24 Crayola colored pencils
- Pack of conical tip markers (either 8 or 12 count)
- Pack of fine tip markers (either 8 or 12 count)
- (2) Glue sticks (1.27 oz size)
- (2) Durable two-pocket folders (one for homework and one for schoolwork)

- Spring - Girls' lacrosse stick, sneakers (cleats optional), lacrosse goggles, mouth guard
